About Us

We are a team of students from UC Berkeley collaborating to design, build, and program autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVS) to compete in the RoboSub competition.

We provide a supportive and welcoming environment where students of all backgrounds are able to develop technical skills and gain an understanding of robotics. Since its founding in 2016, the team has introduced its members to industry-level design, simulation, and software tools through the lens of competitive robotics.

Not a single Mechincal meeting goes by without breaking out our tools to work on Tardigrade. Whether it's through sanding parts with a dremel, slicing up pool noodles with the box cutter, or bravely employing the flexible screwdriver extender ("The Elephant"), all of our tools have come in handy this year.

We've been using the Cadence CFD software Fidelity

We've been using the Cadence CFD software Fidelity to run simulations for our torpedo; it's been super helpful, allowing us to envision how our torpedo will act in real life, how it will move underwater, and how much drag force it will experience when it fires.

Since we have not gotten a response, we're giving you a final courtesy call before we close out your file. Press 2 to be removed and placed on our do-not-call list.
